Gardner Howe III, president, U.S. Naval War College, and Fabien Fiechi, consul general of France in Boston, render honors as a color guard from USS Constitution parades the colors during an arrival ceremony for French navy tall ship Hermione at Fort Adams State Park in Newport, R.I., July 8. Howe, Navy Band Northeast and the color guard from USS Constitution participated in the arrival ceremony to welcome the 18th-century replica ship and the French navy.
