A General Dynamics Land Systems vehicle commander explains Stryker controls to U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Carl Matthews, from Farmingdale, N.J., on a test track outside the Stryker battle damage repair facility at Camp As Sayliyah, Qatar, Sept. 21. While positioned at the controls, Matthews learned how to open and close the rear hatch, adjust the seat, set the emergency brakes and turnover the engine, as well as accelerate, stop and steer the vehicle.
