Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Willie Johnson, awards clerk for the Joint Personnel Service Center, distributes a package of Starbucks coffee donated from "Support the Troops" to Army Sgt. Jaime Concepcion, a communications non-commissioned officer deployed with Puerto Rico National Guard 480th Military Police Battalion, at the Joint Task Force Guantanamo J-1 One Stop in Camp America, Sept. 15. The JPSC provides administration support and processes leave documents for JTF Guantanamo service members. JTF Guantanamo conducts safe, humane, legal and transparent care and custody of detainees, including those convicted by military commission and those ordered released by a court. The JTF conducts intelligence collection, analysis and dissemination for the protection of detainees and personnel working in JTF Guantanamo facilities and in support of the War on Terror. JTF Guantanamo provides support to the Office of Military Commissions, to law enforcement and to war crimes investigations. The JTF conducts planning for and, on order, responds to Caribbean mass migration operations.
