GULF OF ADEN (July 7, 2015) A U.S. Marine with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Maritime Raid Force fires at his target during a low-light deck shoot aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2). The MRF practiced shooting in low-light conditions to familiarize themselves with their equipment and ensure they can shoot accurately. The 15th MEU is embarked on the Essex ARG and deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Anna Albrecht/Released)
