    Cpl. Joshua Vega, a rescue man with a Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting, Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, shows a child how to properly extinguish a fire Wednesday at Waimanalo Beach Park. Children with the Department of Parks and Recreation Summer Fun program went to various stations where they tried on the firefighter's protective equipment learned how to extinguish a fire and were shown the tools used by firefighters.
