ARABIAN GULF (July 4, 2015) U.S. Marines with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit pop party poppers in celebration during a steel beach in observance of Independence Day aboard the dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47). Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 15, 15th MEU, celebrated with the reading of the Declaration of Independence and with an American style barbeque on the flight deck. The 15th MEU is embarked on the Essex Amphibious Ready Group and deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt.
