Royal Air Force Flight Lts. James Freeborough, pilot, and Stewart Lawson (left aircraft), weapons officer; and Flight Lt. James Fross and Squadron Leader Matt Lawrence (right aircraft) position their Tornado GR-4s behind a U.S. Air Force KC-135R/T Stratotanker after refueling. One after the other the Tornados will roll out to rejoin the close air support mission at a lower altitude as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The Tornados and crews are from the 617 Squadron, RAF Lossiemouth, UK and deployed to a location in Southwest Asia. Two F-16CG Fighting Falcons, from the 177th Fighter Wing, Atlantic City, can bee seen below and behind the Tornados, waiting for their air refueling over central Iraq.
