    New York National Guard Honor Guard members Spc. Amanda Perez and Spc. Jose Perez carry the flag into the Antietam National Cemetery Lodge to begin the ceremony of the transfer of remains of an unknown Civil War soldier from New York, Setp. 15, who was found on the Antietam National Battlefield in Sharpsburg, Md., for burial at in New York. The soldier was believed to be between 17 and 19 years old, based on forensic analysis, when he was killed during the Civil War's single bloodiest day. The soldier will be brought to the New York State Military Museum on Wednesday, Sept. 16, and interred at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery with full military honors on Thursday, Sept. 17, the 147th anniversary of the Battle of Antietam.
