    Antietam National Battlefield National Park Service rangers carry the coffin containing the remains of an unknown Civil War soldier from New York found on the Antietam National Battlefield during a ceremony Sept. 15 transferring the remains to be buried in New York. The soldier was believed to be between 17 and 19 years old, based on forensic analysis, when he was killed during the Civil War's single bloodiest day. The soldier will be brought to the New York State Military Museum Sept. 16 and interred at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery with full military honors Sept. 17 the 147th anniversary of the Battle of Antietam.
