Sgt. Maj. of the Marine Corps Ronald L. Green presents the "Staff Sergeant Brad Rich Memorial Spirit Award" to Team British Armed Forces member Sgt. Darren Carew at a dinner following the closing ceremonies of the Department of Defense Warrior Games at Quantico, Va., June 28, 2015. The U.S. Marine Corps established the award after SSgt Rich lost his battle to cancer on May 7, 2015. Throughout his fight with spinal cord cancer, Rich exemplified the enduring spirit of the Warrior Games with his never-quit, positive attitude.
