SOUTH CHINA SEA (July 1, 2015) Lt. James Arterberry, navigator aboard the littoral combat ship USS Fort Worth (LCS 3), communicates with a nearby People's Liberation Army (Navy) warship over bridge-to-bridge radio. USN and PLA(N) ships routinely communicate with each other in order to prevent miscommunication during interactions at sea. Fort Worth is currently on a 16-month rotational deployment in support of the Indo-Asia-Pacific Rebalance. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class Joe Bishop/Released)
