Capt. Justin Sharpe, the executive officer of Company C, 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, holds his 8-month-old son, Julian, after returning home to the Combat Center's Victory Field, Sept. 8. Sharpe, a native of Mabton, Wash., was deployed to Iraq's Al Anbar province for the past seven months in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
