Staff Sgt. Jamie Sanders, a Pre-Ranger Course instructor, makes a splash during combat water survival testing, June 22 at Fort Bragg, N.C. Following a Ranger Physical Fitness Test, Sanders and 18 other candidates jumped in the pool during long range surveillance selection. “The pool was refreshing. It’s a standard you’re going to have to do if you’re ever caught in some surf you have to ditch your gear.” Sanders added he’s looking to land navigation, the 12-mile ruck march and any surprises that come his way.(U.S. Army photo by Spc.
