A U.S. Air Force F-15 Eagle from the 4th Fighter Wing, Seymour-Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., taxis to a parking spot after a morning sortie June 23, 2015, at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. Maintenance crews immediately begin bed-down procedures, while the fuel truck stands by to re-fuel the jet. Northern Edge 2015 is Alaska’s premier joint training exercise designed to practice operations, techniques and procedures as well as enhance interoperability among the services.
