A U.S. Marine with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 463, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin, looks for mock enemy targets June 25 during an aerial gun range at Bradshaw Field Training Area, Northern Territory, Australia. The aerial gun range allowed the Marines to become more proficient with their weapon systems. The MRF-D deployment enables Marines to more effectively train, exercise, and operate with their Australian partners, enhances regional security and builds the capacity to respond more rapidly to natural disasters and crises throughout the region.
