David Cooper, professor, U.S. Naval War College (NWC), delivers remarks during the NWC and Brown University’s Watson Institute for International Studies Faculty Research Colloquium held at NWC in Newport, R.I. The colloquium serves as an opportunity for faculty and participants to share academic interests and promote intellectual dialogue between institutions. This year’s theme for the colloquium was “Promoting International Peace and Security: Challenges for the Next Decade” and included two panel discussions addressing “New Security Challenges” and “Asia-Pacific Challenges.”
