Air Force Lt. Col. Ryan Link, a student at U.S. Naval War College (NWC) in Newport, R.I., provides a presentation for retired Adm. Edmund Giambastiani, former vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Paula Dobriansky, senior fellow for Harvard University’s JFK Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, David Chu, president of the Institute for Defense Analyses and former Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, and Jim Cook, NWC associate professor, during NWC’s National Security Decision Making (NSDM) course final exercise. The 10-week NSDM course is part of NWC's yearlong resident program and is designed to prepare senior level joint and international officers and civilians for executive positions in large national security organizations.
