Chief petty officers and 2009 Chief petty officer selects from Naval Station Pearl Harbor volunteer at the Hawaii Foodbank. The volunteers packaged 1,400 backpack lunches. Their efforts support the Food for Keiki program which distributes prepackaged meals for qualifying elementary school students to take home on the weekends.
