Major Gen. Richard L. Simcock II, the off-going commanding general of 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, gives his parting speech during the brigade’s change of command ceremony aboard Camp Lejeune, June 12, 2015. Maj. Gen. Simcock was relieved of his command as commanding general of 2nd MEB by Brig. Gen. Robert F. Castellvi. Simcock will go on to serve as the commanding general of 3rd Marine Division.
