At the Salispils Concentration Camp Memorial just outside of Riga, Latvia, Sgt. 1st Class Adam Swager looks down on the site of the World War II barracks that housed the prisoners. Today the field is filled with statues that celebrate the perserverance of the oppressed even in the most difficult of circumstances. Swager visited the site as a part of the cultural day for the Saber Strike exercies at Adazi, Latvia.
