A Michigan Soldier connects with the memorial to the thousands who died at the Salispils Concentration Camp in Latvia. The camp is responsible for the deaths of thousands of internees during World War II. Sgt. 1st Class Adam Swager, of the Michigan National Guard is experiencing Cultural Day in the middle of the multi-national Saber Strike training exercise. Saber Strike is a U.S. Army Europe led theater security cooperation exercise that is being conducted at locations throughout the Baltic region and Poland.
