Nissan mechatronics specialists Mizuki Tatsuno (left) and Daiki Wada (right) capture the curiosity of Soldiers assigned to U.S. Army Japan as they demonstrate their craft in preparation for the 2015 WorldSkills Olympics. The demonstration was part of June 18, 2015, tour of Nissan's Zama Operations Center in Zama City, Japan, that gave their distinguished guests in uniform a firsthand account of its employees' craftsmanship while learning more about one another's culture, history and heritage. Mechatronics—the art of designing, building, maintaining and repairing automated systems—is one of dozens of skill sets showcased at the WorldSkills Olympics, the world's largest professional education event that attracts thousands of craftsmen from more than 50 countries.
