On Friday, June 19, 2015, the third class of the HERO Corps graduated. The graduating ceremony was held at Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Headquarters in Washington, D.C. There were a total 22 graduates. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Jeh Johnson, ICE Director Sarah Saldana, Principal Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness Dr. Laura Junor, Executive Director of the National Association to Protect Children Grier Weeks and HERO Class Representative Roxanne Fregoso all made opening comments to start off the graduation ceremony.
