Lt. Col. Hise Gibson accepts the battalion colors of Task Force Talon, 3-82nd General Aviation Support Battalion, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, during a change of command ceremony form the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade commander Col. Mike Musiol on Fort Bragg, N.C., June 9, 2015. Lt. Col. William Braman relinquished command of 3-82 GASB. Braman recently returned from Afghanistan, the battalion based in Bagram Airfield provided aerial support to ground commanders while supporting Operations Enduring Freedom and Freedom’s Sentinel, during their nine-month deployment. Gibson will now transform the general support aviation battalion to a highly maneuverable unit capable of deploying anywhere in the world for a wide variety of missions on very short notice.
