Spc. Taylor Walker, a field medic with Headquarters, 1st Squadron, 18th Cavalry, and a San Diego Police Officer, leads a team of litter bearers back to the staging area after loading a patient onto an awaiting UH-60 Black Hawk from 3rd Battalion, 140th Aviation Battalion, Security and Support, California Army National Guard. Field and flight medics were learning from each other during their annual training, June 6-20, 2015, while using Soldiers assigned to D Company, 40th Brigade Support Battalion, to help and role play as litter patient and carrier. The training, being held at Fort Hunter Liggett, was designed to familiarize everyone on how to call in a medevac. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Master Sgt. Paul Wade)
