U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. William M. Morris, left, and Republic of Korea Marine Cpl. He Jin Gang connect hoses in a hose-reel system June 5 at Doksukri Training Area, Republic of Korea, during Korean Military Exchange Program 15-9. The hose-reel system is used to move fuel from an offshore fuel site to a simulated fuel farm. ROK and U.S. Marines trained with each other to gain a better understanding of one another’s bulk fuel standard operating procedures. KMEP 15-9 focused on improving the engineering capabilities of each nation’s Marine Corps, all while improving relations across the region. Morris, from Marion, Ohio, is a bulk fuel specialist with Bulk Fuel Company, 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force. Gang is a bulk fuel specialist with Bulk Fuel Company, ROK Marine Logistics Group. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Joey S. Holeman, Jr./ Released)
