U.S. and Republic of Korea Marines practice explosive ordnance detection methods June 8 at Camp Mujuk, Republic of Korea, during Korean Military Exchange Program 15-9. The Marines were able to cross train between each other, gaining knowledge and familiarization with one another’s standard operating procedures. KMEP 15-9 will focus on developing the engineering capabilities between the ROK and U.S. Marines while enhancing the relations across the Korean peninsula. The ROK Marines are explosive ordnance disposal technicians with 1st ROK Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team, 1st ROK Marine Division.
