Lance Cpl. Thomas Blume, a Food Service Specialist with Headquarters and Service Company, attached with Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment and native of Cumming, Ga., receives a Letter of Commendation from the Captain of the USS San Antonio (LPD) 17, June 2, 2015. Blume received the award for superior performance of duty onboard during Fleet Week New York from May 20-26 2015. Lance Cpl. BLume performed his duties in an exemplary and highly professional manner.
