Salvadoran children celebrate the opening of a school in Estanzuelas as well as the closing of Beyond the Horizon 2015. Two school buildings were built at Estanzuelas during Beyond the Horizon 2015 in addition to two existing buildings allowing all of the school children there to have a full day of learning. Beyond the Horizon is a U.S. Southern Command sponsored, U.S. Army South planned and led humanitarian and civic assistance exercise. The exercise is a major component of the U.S. military's regional engagement efforts and affords a unique opportunity to train U.S. service members alongside partner nation personnel, while providing needed services to communities throughout the region.
