Army Brig. Gen. Kenneth Beard, the North Carolina National Guard's assistant adjutant general - sustainment and a director with R J Reynolds Tobacco joins business peers, nonprofit leaders, academics and staff at the dedication of the Guilford Technical Community College Donald W. Cameron Campus in Colfax, June, 10, 2015. The campus invited the experts to the opening of the campus dedicated to logistics and supply chain training and education. Beard, both a business executive and veteran, encourages the employers attending the ceremony and panel discussion to take advantage of what his fellow Guard members can provide. “They are available to you. When you hire [NCNG Soldiers and Airmen], you get someone trained with skills who can work on a team,” said Beard.
