U.S. Army Pfc. Daniel Smith of Pasadena, Calif., attached to Communications Platoon, Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 1st Battalion, 77th Field Artillery Regiment, conducts high frequency radio training with members of the Iraqi air force, at Forward Operating Base Delta, in southern Iraq, Aug. 31. The training is designed to prepare the Iraqis for the eventual withdrawal of U.S. forces.
