150610-N-ZZ999-001 KWAJALEIN, Marshall Islands (June 10, 2015) - Chief Builder Jason Cortez, assigned to Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 2, prepares a hydraulic cable cutter before severing an undersea cable at the Kwajalein Missile Impact Scoring System Range. UCT 2’s Construction Dive Detachment Bravo (CDDB) is performing subsea cable maintenance at the range. CDDB is on the fifth stop of their deployment, where they are conducting inspection, maintenance, and repair of various underwater and waterfront facilities in support of the U.S. Pacific Fleet.
