U.S. Marine Cpl. Jamie M. Potter, from Kinston, North Carolina, rappels from a cliff May 22 during the Korean Marine Exchange Program 15-11 at the Republic of Korea Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Pohang, Republic of Korea. Rappelling skills increase Marines’ combat readiness by allowing them to traverse mountainous terrain. KMEP is a recurring, combined small-unit training exercise, which enhances the combat readiness and interoperability of ROK and U.S. Marine Corps forces. Potter is a military policeman with 3rd Law Enforcement Battalion, III Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, III MEF. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Samantha Villarreal/Released)
