U.S. Marines prepare to rappel from a cliff May 22 during Korean Marine Exchange Program 15-11 at the Republic of Korea Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Pohang, Republic of Korea. Rappelling allows Marines to effectively move through mountainous terrain. KMEP is a recurring, combined small-unit training exercise, which enhances the combat readiness and interoperability of ROK and U.S. Marine Corps forces. The U.S. Marines are military policemen with Alpha Company, 3rd Law Enforcement Battalion, III Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, III MEF. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl.
