PACIFIC OCEAN (June 12, 2015) — Aviation Maintenance Administrationman 2nd Class Kyle Peterson, assigned to helicopter anti-submarine light (HSL) 60 squadron, “The Immortals,” controls the brakes of an SH-60B "Seahawk" helicopter as it brought out of the hangar bay for flight quarters on board guided-missile frigate USS Kauffman (FFG 59). Kauffman is currently underway in support of Operation Martillo, a joint operation with the U.S. Coast Guard and partner nations within the 4th Fleet area of responsibility.
