SEA OF JAPAN (June 10, 2015) - Amphibious Assault Vehicles (AAV) from the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit depart from the well deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD-48) during a AAV testing operation. Ashland is a part of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group (BHRARG). BHRARG assigned to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
