    An A-10 Thunderbolt II provides close air support for 1st Force Reconnaissance Marines who responded to a simulated vehicle explosion with mock injured victims at the Playas Research and Training Center, N.M., during Angel Thunder 2015, June 11, 2015. After the Marines responded to the site they came under enemy fire, the A-10s neutralized the threat and provided over watch. The A-10’s belong to 354th Fighter Squadron at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., and the Marines are assigned to Force Company, 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division at Camp Pendleton, Calif.
