A Soldier assigned to 2nd Platoon, 500th Engineer Company, 15th Engineer Battalion, ground guides a D-7 military dozer while offloading it from a rail car June 10, 2015, near the Drawsko Pomorskie Training Area. These dozers will be used to dig vehicle fighting positions, anti-tank ditches and other earth-moving requirements during Saber Strike, a long-standing U.S. Army Europe-led cooperative training exercise. This year’s exercise objectives facilitate cooperation among the U.S., Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland to improve joint operational capability in a range of missions as well as preparing the participating nations and units to support multinational contingency operations.
