The 44-foot sailing vessel Alien 1 is disabled approximately 350 miles southeast of Long Island Sound, N.Y., Monday, June 8, 2015. The crew aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Spencer responded to the distress, transferred the two people from Alien 1 to the Spencer, and took the Alien 1 in tow for transfer to a safe haven.
