Dominican navy Teniente de Corbeta (equivalent to an ensign) Nestor Elias De Los Santos Beltran remotely controls the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Kathleen Moore June 4 while receiving instructions in Spanish from U.S. Coast Guard Lt. Mario Gil, cutter track lead, during an underway gunnery exercise at Tradewinds 2015. The combined, joint U.S. Southern Command-sponsored exercise strengthens the capacity of Caribbean nations to respond to natural disasters, humanitarian crises and counter transnational organized crime.
