Sgt. 1st Class Scott Markley, center, dining facility manager, Courage Inn DFAC, holds up one of three Philip A. The food serving establishment received recognition as the best DFAC in the Army for the second straight year by beating out 286 other competitors, and has its eyes on a third one next year. “We just have to keep training, training, training,” said Markley. “The biggest thing that helped us win the Connelly was that we trained every week; we practiced, practiced, practiced and we followed the regulations.”
