Staff Sgt. Shane T. Hewitt, 2nd Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, places one of the two symbolic black roses on monuments flanking the museum's entrance during the 69th National Airborne Day anniversary celebration at the Airborne and Special Operations Museum in downtown Fayetteville, N.C., Aug. 15, 2009. Hewitt, a jumpmaster with 40 parachute jumps, said he was honored to represent paratroopers and their families who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
