PUCKAPUNYAL MILITARY AREA, VICTORIA, Australia — First Lieutenant Clifford Nelsen, a native of Barrington, Illinois, and a guest member of the Marine Corps Shooting Team, carries two water jugs between stations of a military biathlon match May 18 at the Puckapunyal Military Area, Victoria, Australia, during the Australian Army Skill at Arms Meeting 2015. AASAM is an annual, international combat-marksmanship competition hosted by the Australian Army, May 6 to 22. It consists of more than 30 service pistol, service rifle, sniper rifle, machine gun, and physical competitions. During the match, competitors had to run more than four kilometers between four different shooting stations in full combat gear while carrying their ammo, service pistols and rifles.
