Col. Gary R. Russ, the Joint Task Force-East commander thanks Tennessee Army National Guard service members Aug. 19 at a farewell barbecue held at Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Field, Romania. "We are getting together to celebrate the end of our Romanian experience," said Spc. Lee T. Williams, a supply specialist for the 730th Quartermaster Company. After giving his thanks, Russ handed out coins to outstanding Soldiers. Soldiers who received coins were Spc. Ervin Swopes, Pfc. Joseph W. Davis and Sgt. Scott E. Hopkins.
