A young boy has his hands full deciding on which soccer ball he wants during the visit of U.S. service members to the Emmanuel Khayalethu Orphanage, Aug. 14. The U.S. service members, participating in exercise MEDFLAG 09, visited and donated 6,200 South African Rand ($800) in food and toys to the orphanage in Motjane, Swaziland. In partnership with the Umbutfo Swaziland defence force, U.S. Army Africa conducted a military medical exercise, MEDFLAG 09, in Swaziland from, Aug. 3-14. Both U.S. And Swazi military personnel conducted training in disaster medical planning and operations, a mass casualty exercise and humanitarian and civic outreach to local communities.
