Cash, a canine with the Iraqi police, waits for directions from his handler during a training exercise with U.S. Soldiers from the 25th Infantry Division, Canine Section, at Forward Operating Base Marez, in Mosul, Iraq, Aug. 15. The dogs, provided by the U.S., are the most effective means of detecting explosives and will help Iraqi forces combat the threat of car bombs and suicide attacks.
