Airman 1st Class Ronald Flanagan, 374th Operations Support Squadron aircrew flight equipment, removes simulated potentially contaminated equipment during a Samurai Readiness Inspection at Yokota Air Base, Japan, May 20, 2015. Airmen from the 36th Airlift Squadron and 374th Operations Support Squadron performed aircrew decontamination procedures with the Lightweight Inflatable Decontamination System (LIDS). The LIDS takes about 20 minutes to set up and consists of four stations for rinsing off excess chemicals and a process to dispose of contaminated clothing and aircrew equipment.
