Three U.S. Marine MV-22B Ospreys and two KC-130J Hercules from Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response-Africa flew to Babadag Training Area, Romania, as part of an integration exercise designed to test the unit’s ability to integrate its air assets in Spain with forces already stationed in Romania. The event also marked the first time Ospreys have landed in Romania, where they integrated with the Black Sea Rotational Force during Platinum Eagle 15 to work with their Allies from the Bulgarian and Romanian armed forces.
