150525-N-BX824-166 PHILLIPINE SEA (May 25, 2015) The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) receives supplies from two MH-60S Seahawks from the "Islands Knights" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25 during a vertical replenishment-at-sea with the Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Washington Chambers (T-AKE 11). George Washington and it's embarked air wing, Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 5, provide a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of the U.S. and its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
