The Parris Island Marine Band from South Carolina performs in Times Square during Fleet Week New York May 23, 2015. Approximately 1,800 Marines, sailors and Coast Guardsmen participate in this year’s annual Fleet Week New York, May 20-26, 2015. Fleet Week provides the people of New York and surrounding area a chance to see the capabilities of the sea services, as well getting the opportunity to meet the Marines, sailors and Coast Guardsmen.
